Van Plows Into Tastee Bites Restaurant On Jefferson Street
Several Joliet police officers and firefighters were on the scene at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday across the street from Inwood.

JOLIET, IL — A small west-side restaurant along Jefferson Street may be closed for several days after a van plowed through the glass and entered the restaurant Wednesday night. The crash happened around 7 p.m. Nobody was injured, Patch learned.
Tastee Bites is located at 2953 W. Jefferson St. The restaurant has a small seating area, and much of its business is from carryout orders.
Wednesday night's crash was first reported by Joliet resident Bob Hernandez, who went inside Tastee Bites to produce one of his popular Facebook Live videos.
