Joliet's Casino Chip Thief Faces Arrest Warrant: State Police
Joliet's Hollywood Casino was victimized on three different occasions last August by Jeffrey McNair, according to Will County prosecutors.

JOLIET, IL — A 48-year-old Joliet man who works at the Amazon Distribution Center has a warrant out for his arrest in connection with allegations that he was stealing casino chips from the dealers at the Hollywood Casino Joliet.
The Will County warrant for the arrest of Jeffrey McNair indicates that the Illinois State Police have charged him with one count of continuing a financial crimes enterprise and four counts of theft. Bail for McNair, whose last known address is the 1100 block of Richards Street, was set at $10,000. As of Tuesday, he had not been taken into police custody.
According to McNair's criminal complaint, he knowingly obtained or exerted unauthorized control over property at the Hollywood Casino Joliet, namely $1,000 worth of $500 denomination casino chips, on Aug. 21, 2022, Aug. 28, 2022 and again on Aug. 31, 2022.

On each occasion, prosecutors outlined, McNair intended to deprive the Hollywood Casino "of the use or benefit of said property."
