Cemeno's Overcomes Coronavirus, Reopens For Customers
Cemeno's stayed closed Monday and Tuesday so the restaurant on Essington Road underwent a deep cleaning.

JOLIET, IL — After closing Monday and Tuesday because an administrative employee was diagnosed with the new coronavirus, Cemeno's Pizza on Essington Road is reopening for business on Wednesday. One of Joliet's most popular restaurants, featuring indoor dining, outdoor patio dining and carryout, Cemenos made the announcement of its reopening on social media.
"We have learned that this was thankfully a completely isolated situation. After having ALL of our employees rapidly tested at Emediate Cure Quick Care-Joliet, they have been cleared, tested negative and ready to get back to work," Cemenos announced on Facebook Wednesday morning.
Restaurant officials said that Servepro was hired to sanitize the entire restaurant building this week and "we are able to open TODAY ... see you after 11 a.m."
