Channahon Motorist With Meth Gets Busted On Caton Farm Road By Joliet Police: Cops

JOLIET, IL — It does not happen very often, but this week the Joliet Police Department arrested a motorist in connection with allegations of methamphetamine use. According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, 40-year-old Channahon motorist Nicholas Noyola was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, and cited for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration for non-insurance, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

According to English's news release of the arrest, at 1:58 a.m. Tuesday, an officer made a traffic stop on the Ford Focus at Caton Farm Road and Ridge Road for a suspended registration violation. During the traffic stop, Noyola had a suspended driver’s license.

Noyola got out of the vehicle, and during a subsequent search, the officer recovered suspected methamphetamine and a pipe commonly used to smoke narcotics, English announced.

Noyola was taken into custody without incident, the Channahon man was processed at the Joliet Police Department and later transported to the Kendall County Jail over in Yorkville. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
