Chick-fil-A Drive-Thru Before Joliet City Council
Joliet's City Council meets at 5:30 p.m. Monday and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

JOLIET, IL — Two weeks ago, Joliet Patch published an exclusive story confirming that plans to put a Chick-fil-A restaurant at the old Lone Star Steakhouse property were very much moving forward. WJOL news radio did a follow-up report confirming Patch's reporting was spot on.
This coming week, Joliet's City Council has scheduled a vote whether to approve the proposed drive-thru plans for the Chick-fil-A restaurant on Plainfield Road near the Louis Joliet Mall.
A city council memo from interim city manager Steve Jones explains that Chick-fil-A submitted its request on Halloween to the city's public works staff for the drive-thru window.
