China China Grows Joliet Customer Base Despite Coronavirus Crisis

The new coronavirus outbreak has caused several Joliet restaurants to temporarily close, but China China says business is good.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet's Ruby Street corridor has lots of well-known restaurants, including Hey! Hot Dog, Thayer Brothers Deli and El Primo Mexican Restaurant. Now, there's another gaining popularity as more people order food for carryout and delivery during the new coronavirus outbreak. That restaurant is China China. It's at 270 Ruby St.

On various Facebook groups discussing local restaurants, China China often comes up as a must-try Chinese restaurant for Joliet-area residents. China China moved to Joliet about two years ago after being located in the Plainfield and Romeoville area.

China China is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. It's closed Monday. Because of the ongoing health crisis, China China has had to close its dining room, but the restaurant is still going strong.
