Comedian Dennis Miller Visits Joliet's Rialto January 12

JOLIET, IL - Famous comedian Dennis Miller will be visiting Joliet for a performance at the Rialto Square Theatre on Friday, January 12. Rialto marketing officials released news of Miller's upcoming show on Friday morning. Tickets for the January show will go on sale a week from today, 10 a.m. Oct. 6. Miller, as most of the world knows, became the famous host of Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update." These days, Miller is best known for injecting political satire into Washington's news of the day. He was a regular guest on Fox's "The O'Reilly Factor."

Miller is also the author of several New York Times best-selling books, the Rialto notes.

Rialto officials told Joliet Patch on Friday morning they are quite confident there will be a huge demand for tickets to see Miller in Joliet. Miller also performed at the Rialto once before, several years ago, officials said. "We're very excited, and I'm pretty confident that it will be a sellout," said Jack Ericksen, Rialto director of development.

"It's the type of humor, in today's political environment, the timing is right for him to be here with his comedy," Ericksen added.

Tickets to see Miller live at January 12 at the Rialto will range from $45, $59, $74 to $94, though additional fees may apply, the Rialto notes.
