Conservation Foundation Adds New Board Member
Dennis Wisnosky has been recognized with numerous honors for his work, including being named one of the five heroes of manufacturing.

The Conservation Foundation’s newest Board of Trustees member Dennis Wisnosky would like to see “as much open space as possible.”

“You can’t have too much,” Wisnosky said. “It’s what distinguishes this country from the rest; we intentionally preserve land and we recognize the folly of our past of destroying the ability for water to sustain animals, including us.”
Wisnosky is senior advisor/consultant for the Enterprise Data Management Council and he and wife Rosemary have lived in Naperville for more than 30 years. During that time, he has been very involved in many Conservation Foundation activities and events.

Wisnosky was born in Pennsylvania and received his bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics from California University of Pennsylvania, a master’s in Management Science from the University of Dayton, and a master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
Wisnosky has been recognized with numerous honors for his work, including being named one of the five heroes of manufacturing by Fortune Magazine in 1997.
“I am privileged to have the opportunity to work closely with The Conservation Foundation’s leadership in pursuing our mission of preserving land and protecting rivers and streams,” he said.
The Conservation Foundation is one of the region’s largest and oldest private conservation organizations, with more than 4,000 members and donors, and more than 500 volunteers who contribute 20,000 hours per year.
