Convicted Thief Steals From Rt. 59 Walmart: Joliet Police
Will County Judge Amy Bertani-Tomczak has issued a warrant for Joliet police to arrest Mario Delatorre.

JOLIET, IL — Will County Judge Amy Bertani-Tomczak has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of 25-year-old Mario Delatorre in connection with several recent crimes at the Walmart store on Route 59. Joliet police have charged Delatorre with burglary, theft and retail theft.
Delatorre lives in the Plainfield area of Joliet, in the 5200 block of Pine Trails Circle.
According to the criminal complaint, Delatorre entered the Walmart on March 7 intending to commit a theft. The retail theft charge indicates that Delatorre stole a television set and the full retail value of the TV exceeded $300.

The complaint notes that back in 2020, Delatorre stole speakers from the Sterling & Knight Jewelry & Pawn store, and he got convicted of retail theft following that crime, also in Will County.
The judge's bench warrant set bail at $25,000 for Delatorre.

As of Friday, Delatorre was not in police custody. His arrest warrant notes that Delatorre has a tattoo of a black cross underneath his right eye.
