2 Wedding Proposals: Best Taste Of Joliet Country Night Crowd Ever

Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line and Mitchell Tenpenny were the main draws, plus there were two wedding proposals Saturday night.

JOLIET, IL — Taste of Joliet drew an incredible 30,000 people on Saturday for Country Night and that left Joliet Park District director Brad Staab and Joliet Mayor Terry D'Arcy smiling and thrilled beyond belief. Both men said the crowd was probably the biggest ever for a Saturday Country Night at Taste of Joliet.

Friday's Train concert event drew 20,000 to 25,000 people, Staab said.

Here's a sampling of photos and live video taken by Joliet Patch on Saturday. There were two - yes, two - separate wedding proposals made. One during the performance of country star Mitchell Tenpenny and the other on the stage right before Florida Georgia Line singer Tyler Hubbard performed at 9:15 p.m.
