"Officers found multiple people holding on to Nelson. Nelson then attempted to swing at another individual in the officer’s presence," police spokesman Dwayne English noted.
When officers told Nelson to stop trying to throw punches, he began yelling, prompting officers to arrest him. "Nelson had been outside the bar, acting belligerent towards customers of the bar. Nelson was asked to leave multiple times, to which he refused. Nelson continued to be belligerent and threatened to fight others at the bar," English said.
