The Rialto's press release notes that "Dokken exploded out of the boiling hard rock/heavy metal scene in Los Angeles in the early 1980s. As for Lita Ford, she is a British born rocker who grew up on the streets of L.A.

"Lita Ford is considered one of the most influential female representatives of the rock genre. She was a founding member of The Runaways, one of the first girl groups who broke down the gender barriers of the punk era, as well as the male-dominated world of rock music," the Rialto announced.

Some of her most famous hits included “Close Your Eyes Forever,” as well as “What Do You Know About Love,” “Shot Of Poison,” “Larger Than Life” and “Kiss Me Deadly.”

The Rialto also announced that Downtread will be joining the lineup for the Joliet show. Downtread has shared the stage with such rock legends as Whitesnake, Judas Priest, Bret Michaels, Skid Row and L.A. Guns. The band's third album, The War Behind the Wolf, is available now.
