Domestic Violence On Cora Street, Arrest Warrant Issued: JPD

JOLIET, IL — Will County Judge Ben Braun set bail at $200,000 last week and issued a warrant for Joliet police to arrest 24-year-old Vincent Kirsch Jr. on multiple charges in connection with allegations that Kirsch tried to strangle a woman.

According to the warrant, Kirsch resides in the 1000 block of Cora Street, that's part of the Cunningham Neighborhood. He's charged with aggravated domestic battery, plus three counts of domestic battery.

The criminal complaint indicates that on April 4, Kirsch tried to strangle a woman who is a family or household member and also slapped her in the face. One of the domestic battery charges states that the young man from Cora Street grabbed his victim by the neck.

As of Monday, Kirsch not been taken into custody by the Joliet police. The agency also arrested him in February on domestic battery charges, jail logs show.
