He was holding a bag of crack when a firefighter found him passed out behind the wheel, police said.

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet man was drunk and high when he careened around a west side parking lot in his pickup truck and hit six cars, police said.

Robert Weber, 26, was clutching a small plastic bag of crack when a firefighter found him passed out behind the wheel of his Chevy Colorado Monday night, police said. The firefighter also reportedly located a pipe on the pickup’s floor.

Police were called out to the parking lot off Plainfield Road between Voyager Lane and Hennepin Drive to investigate multiple car crashes about 8:15 p.m. Weber was responsible for all of them, police said, hitting five parked vehicles before jumping a curb and crashing into a sixth.

Weber was taken to Presence St. Joseph Medical Center and from there was transported to the Will County jail. He was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of both drugs and alcohol, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
