Dunkin' At Six Corners: City Council Unanimous On Vote
Dunkin' plans to build a restaurant in Joliet featuring a drive-thru window at 800 North Raynor Avenue.

JOLIET, IL — A proposed Dunkin' drive-thru restaurant at an empty lot in the city's Cathedral Area received unanimous approval at Tuesday night's Joliet City Council meeting.
Joliet's public works division received a request for the drive-thru at 800 North Raynor Avenue on May 29, according to city records. Tuesday night's vote means the new Dunkin' restaurant will be built on the vacant lot at the Six Corners intersection, near the Thayer Brothers Deli restaurant.
The Dunkin' project was supposed to come up for a vote in June, but the council delayed action at the time, requiring developers to conduct a traffic study. City officials said the traffic study indicated the new Dunkin' will not be a detriment to the Six Corners area or cause unnecessary traffic congestion.
