Evolving Architecture, Evolving Spaces - Friday Night Downtown Joliet

First Tour is Friday, May 13th at pm - at Union Station 50 E. Jefferson St.

Spend a Friday night in downtown Joliet eating, drinking and thinking about architecture, history and development!

Join architectural historian and Joliet City Planner Jayne Bernhard as she leads you on a 1.5-hour tour guided Friday evening tour of downtown Joliet (or of downtown Joliet’s evolving historic places and spaces). The tour will focus on the changing nature of downtown Joliet’s architecture, design and spatial planning within its historic context.

This tour launches from the historic Union Station at 6pm. Participants are encouraged to have a drink and a bite to eat at MyGrain Brewery or another downtown restaurant before or after the tour. Free parking available in the parking lot across the street from Union Station. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at www.jolietmuseum.org or at the JAHM. Check-in instructions will be sent once tour has been confirmed.
