Excessive Heat Causes ACE Drive-In To Close

ACE is located at 1207 Plainfield Road. ACE has been a Joliet summer and fall tradition since 1949.

ACE is best known for its car hops. The car hops bring your food and root beer to your vehicle or you can eat at their outdoor picnic tables.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet's ACE Drive-In has made the decision to stay closed on Wednesday and Thursday because of "the excessive heat and for the safety of our employees."

"We will reopen on Friday 8/25 at 11 a.m. Sorry for the inconvenience," ACE posted on Facebook.
