Family Fun Zone Calls Police To Disperse Unruly Juveniles
Crest Hill Police Chief Ed Clark told Joliet Patch this account.

CREST HILL, IL - More than 25 area police cars responded to the Family Fun Zone roller skating rink off Theodore Street on Monday evening after the owners requested help from police because the business was overcapacity. Crest Hill Police Chief Ed Clark said that a number of isolated fights also broke out as police officers tried to maintain order.
However, nobody was hurt, and no ambulances were summoned, he said.
Clark said the owners of Family Fun Zone notified the police around 5 p.m. that they were overcapacity and could not let any more people inside. According to police, too many parents had been dropping off their children at the rollerskating rink.

Clark said that several of the juveniles became unruly and were refusing to leave and call their parents to come and get them. Many of the juveniles continued to hang around the vestibule area and wouldn't leave the premises and go outside.
In turn, Crest Hill sent several police officers to the business and so did the Joliet Police Department to help with crowd control and to keep a watch on the juveniles until they got rides home. However, a couple of isolated fights broke out, Clark said.
