Joliet Man Dies At CVS Pharmacy Parking Lot: Coroner
A 39-year-old Joliet man was killed when he was pinned under a car during the early morning hours, Joliet Fire Chief Greg Blaskey said.

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet man lost his life early Thursday morning when he was hit by a 77-year-old man driving his car in the CVS Pharmacy parking lot. The crash victim got pinned underneath the car, according to Joliet Fire Chief Greg Blaskey.
The fatality happened around 4:35 a.m. at 809 Plainfield Road.
The Will County Coroner's Office of Laurie Summers identified the victim as 39-year-old Alec Langellier.

Firefighter/paramedics from nearby Station 5 found the man, who was around 40 years old, under the car, Blaskey said.
Langellier suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Joliet police said the 39-year-old pedestrian got trapped under the car.

The crash remains under investigation by the Joliet Police Traffic Unit, police spokesman Dwayne English announced.
