Felony DUI Charges For Joliet Mercedes-Benz Driver: JPD
Shortly before midnight, Joliet police made a traffic stop on a Mercedes near West Jefferson Street and Earl Avenue for speeding.

JOLIET, IL — A 46-year-old Joliet man was booked into the Will County Jail early Monday morning following his felony drunken driving arrest by Joliet police on West Jefferson Street and Earl Avenue.
Oneal Robertson's Mercedes-Benz was pulled over for speeding, according to the arrest report. Robertson was later taken away in handcuffs on two charges of aggravated DUI, DUI, driving on a suspended license and obstruction of justice.
The traffic stop occurred around 11:50 p.m. Sunday.

Joliet police said Robertson exhibited behaviors of alcohol impairment, and Robertson indicated he did not have a driver’s license.
After performing poorly on the field sobriety tests, Robertson was placed into custody, police noted.

"Upon search of Robertson’s vehicle, officers located an open alcohol container," police spokesman Dwayne English announced. "Robertson was transported to the Joliet Police Department for processing."
Officers brought Robertson to the Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center after a search warrant was secured for a blood sample. At the hospital, Robertson refused to comply with the Joliet police hospital staff, English said.
Robertson was then transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility and he was booked into his jail cell around 3:25 a.m. Robertson lives in the 1700 block of Aaron Lane.
