Fleeing Man Drives At Joliet Officer: Complaint
The incident that led to the Joliet man's arrest began on Larkin Avenue.

JOLIET, IL —A 34-year-old Joliet east-side resident remains in the Will County Jail facing a $350,000 bail after Joliet Police officers say he fled from a traffic stop on Larkin Avenue and later sped his Dodge Journey toward one of the officers, court files show.
The incident occurred during the early morning hours of Feb. 12.
In the end, Joliet Police captured the fleeing suspect, Ryan Reddick, who lives in the 500 block of Landau Avenue. Reddick has been charged with aggravated assault, resisting a peace officer and aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer.

According to the complaint, Reddick was directed by the Joliet police "to bring his vehicle to a stop (but) willfully failed or refused to obey such direction and increased his speed ... and such flight or attempt to elude involved the disobedience of two or more official traffic control devices, in that he disobeyed multiple posted stop signs."
The aggravated assault charge indicates Reddick "knowingly drove a Dodge Journey at (a) Joliet Police Officer."

The third charge, resisting a peace officer, states that Reddick "got out of the vehicle and ran away from (another officer)."
Twelve days after his early morning capture by Joliet's Police Department, Reddick remained in the Will County Jail unable to post 10 percent of his $350,000 bail, court files reflect.
