JOLIET, IL - Thousands of people packed toward the stage on Friday night at the Taste of Joliet as lead singer Kelly Hansen and Foreigner opened with "Double Vision," then followed with "Head Games." For his third song, "Cold As Ice," the 58-year-old Hansen jumped off the stage and into the crowd.

From there, Foreigner slowed it down by coming back with "Waiting for a Girl," followed by "Dirty White Boy," "Feels Like First Time," "Urgent" and "Jukebox Hero."

The finale included "I Want to Know" and "Hot Blooded."

She didn't go to Taste of Joliet last year, so this was her first time wandering around Memorial Stadium. To make it worth her while, we splurged on the food over a two-and-a-half-hour period before Foreigner, spending nearly $30 in total. It was well worth it. One of our favorite stops came just before the start of the Foreigner concert.

All in all, Friday night was a big success for the Joliet Park District. The rain held off and there was a big crowd for Foreigner.

Saturday features country music and the main headliner is Cole Swindell, who takes stage at 9 p.m.

The Taste of Joliet concludes on Sunday with Hispanic Day.
