Former Hilltopper Signs with Indianapolis Colts
Despite not being selected in the draft, Josh Ferguson was still signed by the team.
Although he wasn’t officially part of the NFL draft, former Joliet Catholic player Josh Ferguson has reportedly signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
According to The Champaign Room, “the two sides evidently worked very quickly to get an agreement hammered out” once the draft was over in Chicago.
The Naperville resident and University of Illinois player is 5’9’’ and 198 lbs. He will play as a running back for the Colts.

“He possesses tremendously quick feet, which allow him to easily evade tacklers at all levels of the defense,” the report stated.
