The Will County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the circumstances of Traeger's death. The child's godmother indicated that the boy's mother was at work on Saturday and Traeger apparently climbed a ladder and fell into the pool, in the 19000 block of Elwood's Raymond Drive. Another adult relative at the home tried to revive Traeger, but was unsuccessful. The little boy was later pronounced dead at Presence Saint Joseph's Medical Center.
