JOLIET, IL — On Saturday, a crowd approaching 3,000 people, perhaps more, will get to invade the limestone walls along Joliet's east side for a big party. From 4 to 11 p.m., the community will mark the second annual Great Joliet Prison Break-In, a fund-raiser for the Joliet Area Historical Museum to pay for ongoing repairs and building restorations of the 1860s-era prison facility.

The music entertainment has been advertised for months: The Ides Of March, Nikki Hill Band, Great Moments In Vinyl and Hot Mess.

That's great, you're thinking, but what about the food?

Museum executive director Greg Peerbolte told Joliet Patch that one of the major changes from last year's inaugural event was the decision to add several more food vendors.

And he did.
