Harrah's Casino Men's John Dangerous: Plaintiff

Sam Esposito of Oak Park is suing Joliet's multi-million dollar downtown casino.

JOLIET, IL - In August 2016, Sam Esposito patronized downtown Joliet Harrah's Casino figuring he could win thousands of dollars gambling on games of chance. But it was Esposito's experience inside the men's urinal that has Esposito seeing dollar signs. Last week, Esposito filed a civil lawsuit against the Joliet Harrah's Casino at the Will County Courthouse. It's a slip and fall lawsuit against a multi-million dollar corporation.

The Cuda Law Offices of Oak Park is representing Esposito. Their civil lawsuit blames Harrah's for being negligent and putting Esposito's safety in jeopardy as a result of his visit to the john on Aug. 2, 2016, while he was visiting the Harrah's casino in Joliet.

"On the aforementioned date, the plaintiff was lawfully on the defendant's premises and was at all relevant times in the exercise of due care and caution for his safety and the safety of others," Esposito's lawyers informed the Will County court.

Then came the apparent fall.

"The plaintiff slipped on a substance that was present inside the men's restroom," according to Esposito's version of events. Afterward, "the plaintiff became sick, sore and suffered injuries both externally and internally as well as great injury to his head, neck, face, shoulder and limbs, thereby suffering great pain."

And, that's not all, according to Cuda Law Offices.

"The plaintiff has become permanently disabled as a result of the accident," Esposito's lawyers informed the court.

According to the lawsuit, Esposito lives in Oak Park on North Avenue.
