Harrah's Joliet Sued By Customer From Orland Park
Mildred Gusich hired Rathbun, Cservenyak & Kozol to file her new Will County lawsuit.

JOLIET, IL - An Orland Park woman who visited Harrah's Joliet Casino Hotel nearly two years ago has hired a prominent local law firm in hopes of collecting thousands of dollars in damages from the billion-dollar company. The plaintiff, Mildred Gusich, hired Rathbun, Cservenyak & Kozol's Mokena offices. It's a personal injury negligence lawsuit.
According to the complaint, Gusich was visiting the gambling facility at 151 N. Joliet St. on Feb. 3, 2017, "for the purpose of entertainment." On that occasion, Gusich "was caused to trip and fall while leaving the slot game located at ... Harrah's Joliet Casino Hotel ... due to the narrow walkway provided," contends Mokena lawyer Scott Pyles. "At all times relevant ... Plaintiff was exercising reasonable care for her own safety."
Gusich argues that Harrah's was "careless and negligent" and that's why she "was caused to trip and fall on the floor." Her lawyer wants a Will County jury to issue his client a monetary award of at least $50,000 plus cover the costs of filing their lawsuit.
