He 'Could Not Be Told What To Do:' Joliet Police

Rojas was arrested at his residence on Glenwood Avenue.

JOLIET, IL - A 22-year-old man from the city's west side got arrested late Sunday night after Joliet Police officers were called to a disturbance. The defendant, Antonio Rojas, later put his finger right into the face of the Joliet officers and declared "he could not be told what to do," reports show. Rojas was hauled off to the Will County Jail on charges of aggravated battery, aggravated assault, resisting a peace officer and obstructing justice.

According to Joliet Police, officers arrived at the Rojas residence in the 1600 block of Glenwood Avenue around 10:15 p.m. and once the officers tried to question Rojas, he actually grabbed both of the officer's arms, reports show.

"The officer backed away and asked Rojas to not grab his arms. Rojas then became irate and walked back towards the officer. Rojas then put his finger within a couple inches in the officer’s face. The officer asked Rojas to step back and to not put his finger in his face. Rojas continued to put his finger in the officer’s face and said he could not be told what to do," reports state.
