Man Obstructed Justice In Joliet Police Department's Missing Juvenile Investigation: Complaint
The Joliet Police Department checked the box on the arrest warrant for Nathan Heyward indicating they want to be notified if he's captured.

JOLIET, IL — The Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow has filed two counts of obstructing justice against 35-year-old Nathan Heyward in connection with a Joliet Police Department investigation involving a missing juvenile.
Will County Judge Art Smigielski signed the arrest warrant last Friday, and the warrant indicates that Heyward will be held without release upon his capture. The Joliet Police Department checked the box on the warrant indicating they want to be contacted upon his arrest.
According to the criminal complaint, on Dec. 11, Heyward, with the intent to prevent the apprehension of a person or defense of a person, "furnished false information, in that he told law enforcement that he did not have a phone number for a missing juvenile who law enforcement was searching for and a search of his phone later determined he possessed that phone number and had communications with the juvenile."

The warrant for Heyward's arrest indicates he comes from Tinley Park and lives at the apartment units in the 6700 block of South Street.
