Health Inspection Report: Heroes West

JOLIET, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.

The Will County Health Department visited Heroes West July 7 for a routine inspection. A sanitation score was not given but the health department recommended that the restaurant keep temperature logs.

At an earlier inspection on March 3, the restaurant received a sanitation score of 85. No correction score was given.

Some of the items out of compliance were:

• Mop stored improperly.
• Prep sink faucet leaking.
• Interior of fryers soiled.
• Food stored in grocery bags.
• No paper towels at bar hand sink.
