Heat Cancels Outdoor Joliet Concert: New Concert Date Set

Because of Thursday's dangerous heat and humidity, the weekly Concert on the Hill series at the Bicentennial Park in Joliet was canceled.

JOLIET, IL — Representatives of Joliet's Bicentennial Park opted to play it safe and cancel Thursday evening's weekly summer Concert on the Hill series because of the extreme heat wave that has reached Illinois.

According to its Facebook page, Thursday's postponed FREE Concerts on the Hill - July 27 has been rescheduled. As a result, the FREE POLKA LUAU - Eddie Korosa & Ukulele Moonshiners is now set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 7.

"Join Eddie Korosa and Ukulele Moonshiners for a fun night of polka and party tunes! We hope to see you there!" Bicentennial Park officials proclaimed.
