Heroes West Creates Easter Carryout 5 Course Family Feast
The coronavirus has eliminated Heroes West's dine-in traffic, but the well-known Joliet business is doing its best to adjust to carryout.
JOLIET, IL — For nearly a month, one of Joliet's most popular bars and restaurants has had to adapt to a new way of doing business because of the new coronavirus outbreak. For Heroes West Sports Grill, that means no dine-in guests and no customers drinking craft beers at their large bar.
For years, Heroes West has featured a large menu for dine-in guests, so rather than shut its doors during the health crisis, as most of Joliet's bars have done, Heroes West is remaining open for takeout meals, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
People can order online or call ahead, and Heroes West will bring your food out to your car in the parking lot.

Heroes West also offers a limited delivery area, Joe Pecora told Joliet Patch this week. He is one of the managing partners who run Heroes West, 1530 Commerce Lane. Pecora also wanted customers to know that Heroes West is still selling craft beer growlers, as well as seltzers and wines for takeout orders.

So what's been popular of late?
"Wings and burgers," Pecora answered.
Heroes West is also offering a "Family of Four Dinner Special for $50."
And this week only, Heroes West is promoting a "Easter 5 Course Family Feast." The takeout meal is $67.99 and feeds four to six people, Pecora said.
Pecora said Heroes West provides customers with heating instructions for the takeout feast so everything will taste delicious when you're dining at home with family on Sunday.
"We're super thankful for all of our super guests who have been coming up and ordering," Pecora told Patch. "We love seeing you."
Heroes West has been at its current location near Joliet's Interstate 55 exit for Houbolt Road since 2007. For more information, you can visit its website here. The business phone is 815-725-1234.
