Hollywood Casino Cuts Off Alcohol, Angry Man Arrested: JPD

JOLIET, IL — A 53-year-old Lombard man who was patronizing the Joliet Hollywood Casino on Sunday is now in the Will County Jail after Joliet police say he pushed casino security guards and later wanted to fight the Joliet police officers called to the scene, arrest reports show.

Jose Aguilar-Tenorio now faces charges of aggravated battery, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace officer. The incident happened around 5:55 p.m. at 777 Hollywood Boulevard.

Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English said that fellow offices were sent to investigate a Hollywood Casino guest causing a disturbance.

"Officers learned that due to Aguilar-Tenorio’s level of intoxication, casino staff and security guards advised him that he was being cut off from further alcohol purchases," English noted.

Aguilar-Tenorio became angry and he pushed a security guard.

When Joliet officers tried to arrest Aguilar-Tenorio, he made threats to fight the officers and initially refused to identify himself.

Bail for Aguilar-Tenorio was set at $5,000. He remains in custody unable to post the necessary 10 percent, which is $500.
