I-55 Wreck Shuts Down Lanes Near Joliet, Plainfield: Report
The crash happened around 8 a.m. on Tuesday along Interstate 55.
JOLIET, IL — Joliet's news radio station, 1340-AM WJOL is reporting that a semi-truck carrying asphalt overturned along southbound I-55 at Caton Farm Road, in the area of Joliet and Plainfield.
The radio station noted that traffic is getting by on the right shoulder and it's backed up to Renwick Road. The wreck happened around 8 a.m. All three southbound lanes of I-55 are closed, the station noted.
