I-80 Reopens Near Joliet's Rowell Avenue
Illinois State Police issued the bulletin around 8:30 a.m.

JOLIET, IL - The Illinois State Police on Tuesday afternoon announced that I-80 in both directions has been reopened following a morning wreck that involved multiple vehicles. "All lanes are open on I-80 westbound at Rowell Avenue from the earlier crash," the press release advised.
The chain-reaction crash occurred at 7:45 a.m. Nobody was seriously hurt, police said.

The Illinois State Police just sent the following news media bulletin at 8:30 a.m. "Alert!!! All lanes are shut down on I-80 westbound at Rowell Ave. for a multi vehicle crash. Please use alternate routes. No further information available at this time."
