Icon Lounge Incident Leads To Joliet Police Arrest Of Teenager From Tinley Park On 3 Criminal Charges
Diamonique Gore was charged with criminal trespass, battery and obstructing a peace officer, according to Joliet's police force.

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department made its first arrest of the year at downtown Joliet's nightclub known as the Icon Lounge, taking a 19-year-old from Tinley Park away in handcuffs. The incident happened around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday.
Icon Lounge is located in John Bays' Bays Professional Building, the same building anchored by The Forge.
According to police spokesman Dwayne English, the officers responded to a disturbance at Icon Lounge, 177 North Chicago Street, Diamonique Gore had been removed from the business after being involved in a disturbance with several other females.

Gore refused to comply with multiple orders to leave the area and attempted to reenter the business, English announced.
When officers again directed her to leave, Gore became agitated and charged toward an officer, at which point she was taken into custody following a brief struggle that resulted in her being taken to the ground, the arrest report showed.

English said Gore was charged with criminal trespass, battery and obstructing a peace officer. She continued to act aggressively and was uncooperative with officers during processing; eventually, Gore was processed at the Joliet Police Department and released on a notice to appear in court, English announced.
