IHSA Limits Attendance to 60 Spectators

The Illinois High School Association is limiting attendance for the remaining games in the 2020 IHSA Boys Basketball State Series to 60 spectators per school. Therefore, the upcoming Boys Basketball State Series games will not be open to the general public. This is an attempt to reduce the potential spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

This limited attendance includes the Joliet West High School Boys Basketball Sectional Final game on Friday, March 13 at Lockport East. The 60 spectators from Joliet West High School are limited to two guests per player and coach. Basketball families will be contacted by the Athletic Department regarding their tickets. There will be no pass list. The 60-spectator per school limitation will also be invoked across all remaining basketball games this season. Full refunds will be available for any tickets already purchased for the remaining games.

So that the public can still cheer on our Tigers from home, WJOL Radio AM 1340 will broadcast the game live online. We thank WJOL for this service and their partnership.
