Jameson's Pub Violence: Joliet Police Arrest Man On 4 Felony Charges

JOLIET, IL — A member of the Joliet Police Department and an employee at Jameson's Pub were attacked this week in connection with an incident at Jameson's Pub, 2755 Black Road.

The Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow has charged 30-year-old Lockport resident Timothy Bond with four felony counts of aggravated battery.

According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English:

• Officers were sent to Jameson's Pub around 4 p.m. Tuesday for a disturbance.
• "It was learned that bar staff had refused service to Bond due to his intoxication, at which time Bond threw a glass to the floor, shattering it," Joliet police reports show.
• Bond pushed an employee when they tried to escort him out of the bar.
• The Jameson's Pub staff then held Bond until Joliet police arrived and took him into custody.
• At the Joliet Police Department, Bond was uncooperative with the booking process, making numerous threats to fight officers.
• Bond struck one Joliet officer while being processed.
• Bond was later transferred to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

According to court records, Bond tackled a man to the ground inside Jameson's Pub and he pushed the man's body. Bond also pinched a Joliet police officer's hand and Bond punched another Joliet police officer's body, the complaint stated.

Bond was booked into the jail around 1 a.m. Wednesday, and released around 7 p.m. after posting 10 percent of his $10,000 bail.
