Jason Errichetto Faces Attempted Murder In Rockdale Beating
Errichetto remains in Will County's custody facing nine separate felonies. He is a convicted domestic abuser.

JOLIET, IL - A 44-year-old man who lives in Joliet and has a propensity for violent behavior now finds himself in the Will County Jail facing nine separate felony charges that could put him in prison for the rest of his life, if convicted. Jason Errichetto, of the 100 block of Madonna Avenue, got arrested late Thursday night by the Rockdale Police Department, jail logs show. Errichetto faces seven felonies that accuse him of committing aggravated domestic battery including counts that accuse him of torturing his victim. He is also charged with attempted murder. He is also a convicted domestic abuser here in Will County.
Some Joliet Patch readers familiar with Thursday night's crime say the victim was found off Mound Road around Rockdale. Court records show the crime is being investigated by the Will County Major Crimes Task Force.

The Joliet Herald-News published a story declaring "there was doubt the woman Errichetto was charged with beating would survive the attack."
In July 2015, Errichetto entered a guilty plea to the felony offense of domestic battery. He drew a two-day sentence and got credit for time served, and put on probation for 30 months, court records show.
