JCHS Pep Band Selected as an Official Pep Band for IHSA State Finals
Joliet Central High School Pep Band has been selected as one of the Official 2015 IHSA State Final Pep Bands.
The Joliet Central High School Pep Band, under the direction of Michael Fiske, has been selected as one of the Official 2015 IHSA State Final Pep Bands.
The JCHS band will perform during the State Final Girls 1A-2A Basketball Tournament at the Illinois State University Redbird Arena on Saturday, February 28. They will play at the afternoon semi-final sessions at 12:00 Noon and 2:00 p.m. and the evening finals sessions at 6:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.
The Joliet Central High School award-winning band program continues to provide generations of students with the discipline and skills necessary to gain professional success and career advancement. They recently performed at Walt Disney in Orlando, Florida and at the Dixie Classic Festival in Richmond, Virginia. The group was the Honor Award Winner at the Dixie classic Festival in 2014 and the Grand Champion at the ISU State of Illinois Concert Band Festival in 2013.

“We are honored to represent Joliet Township High School at this event,” said JCHS Band Director Mike Fiske. “Our students really enjoy what we do at the home basketball games at Central Campus. This gives them a chance to “take it on the road’. It should be great fun for all.”
