Joliet 20-Year-Old Brought Troy Student, 14, To Indiana: Cops
Joliet police say the recent graduate of Troy Middle School was found in Indiana and she has been deemed safe.

JOLIET, IL — The 20-year-old boyfriend of the recent Troy Middle School eighth grade graduate who disappeared earlier this week has been taken into custody in Indiana and his criminal charges are pending.
Joliet police announced the 14-year-old girl was reported missing by her family on Tuesday. On Thursday, police said she was found safe.
"Throughout the course of the investigation, information was developed that she had willingly left with her boyfriend Froilan Guzman and may be headed to a different state," police spokesman Dwayne English said. "Through a collaborative effort between law enforcement partners, Guzman and the juvenile were located in Indiana on June 9."

Guzman was taken into custody and charges are currently pending. Friday marked his 20th birthday, English informed Joliet Patch, explaining that his agency has not received a mugshot for Guzman at this time.
