Joliet Bar Moving to New Location

After operating at its Ruby Street location for more than four decades, a Joliet bar will soon get a new home.

John Elder, owner of Kuchie’s One More Time, last week told WJOL that the business is getting ready to move to a new location at the former home of West Side Tap near Joliet Junior College.

Elder told the radio station that the “neighborhood bar” that people walk to is a thing of the past, and the current location, 270 Ruby St., needs a larger parking lot.

Kuchie’s will relocate to a new spot at 1356 Houbolt Rd.
