Joliet Blotter: Man Charged with DUI, Driving on Wrong Side of Road

Feb. 12

Sarah Babin, 25, of the 1200 block of Gage, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of domestic battery, resisting an officer and aggravated battery of an office, according to jail records.

James Lopez, 27, of the 1600 block of Douglas, was arrested by Will County Sheriff’s police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of DUI, headlight/sidelight violation and failure to notify the Secretary of State of a change of name or address, police said.

Brittany Sperry-Virbickis, 27, of the 1200 block of Green Trails, Plainfield, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident and battery, according to jail records.

Feb. 13

Michael Etchoe, 29, of the 100 block of Windsor Lane, Glendale Heights, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of obstruction of justice/destroying evidence and resisting an officer, jail records said.

Shaquille Holmes, 19, of the 100 block of Akin, was arrested by New Lenox police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Miguel Irizarry, 48, of the 3000 block of Dan Ireland Drive, was arrested by Will County Sheriff’s police and booked into the Will County jail on charges of DUI and not driving on the right side of the road, police said.
