JOLIET, IL — This month marks the two-year anniversary since the city of Joliet welcomed the MyGrain Brewing Company into downtown at the historic Union Train Station. Now, the city's first microbrewery in decades is throwing a huge party, German style.

The MyGrain Brewing's Oktoberfest party goes from 11:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. The festive event, at 50 E. Jefferson St., will include beer stein fills, German food specials, games and various special beer tappings.

Actually, there are a ton of special events planned at MyGrain Brewing between now and the rest of the year.
