Joliet Central Class of 2018 Athletes Sign Letters Of Intent

Fifteen Joliet Central athletes from the Class of 2018 signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level

Fifteen Joliet Central High School athletes from the Class of 2018 signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level at a recent ceremony in the Joliet Central High School Student Center.

Joliet Central Athletic Director Steve Locke and coaches were present to introduce and recognize the fifteen student athletes in the school’s auditorium.

“I am very proud of each and every one of these students for pursuing their athletic careers in college,” Locke said.

Students who signed letters of intent at the ceremony include: Hayley Bazan – Soccer, University of St. Francis; Sheila Corona – Cross Country & Track, University of St. Francis; Austin Derbas – Football, Wartburg College; Nicolas Gutierrez – Baseball, College of DuPage; Emily Jimenez – Soccer, Joliet Junior College; Cole Lusinger – Volleyball, Purdue University Northwest; Bryce Marek – Volleyball, Purdue University Northwest; Deericka Martin – Basketball, Iowa Wesleyan University; Leonardo Patino – Cross Country & Track, University of St. Francis; Salvador Rosas – Soccer, Culver-Stockton College; Oscar Tejeda – Cross Country & Track, University of St. Francis; Emily Vollmer – Basketball, Joliet Junior College; Raviel Winters – Volleyball, Trine University; Zachary Wisneski – Football, Robert Morris University – Illinois; and Amanda Wisslead – Cheerleading, University of St. Francis.
