Joliet Central Fist Fight: 5 Arrested By Joliet PD
Fists were flying on Wednesday afternoon inside Joliet Central.

JOLIET, IL — A total of five teenagers were involved in a fist-fight on Wednesday afternoon at Joliet Central High School, according to police. Four were juveniles and one was an adult, 18-year-old Angel Vargas, whose mugshot is pictured at the top of this article.
The four juveniles were charged by Joliet Police with reckless conduct and criminal trespass to state supported land. Vargas, 18, was taken away in a Joliet Police car and later charged with the offense of reckless conduct.
Joliet Police cars responded to the high school campus at 1:29 p.m. The call concerned a fight.

"The above listed subjects were involved in a fight inside the school. The fight was broken up by school security personnel. Officers arrested four juveniles and Vargas for the above listed offenses," Joliet Police reports show.
Vargas lives in the 500 block of Campbell Street, arrest logs show. He was processed at the Joliet Police Station and released on an I-bond.
