Chief 'Alf' Roechner Stars In JPD Christmas Story Videos
Joliet's Police Chief is back making more videos as the character Alf on the Shelf.
JOLIET, IL — Last December, the Joliet Police Department published numerous videos on social media chronicling the adventures of new Joliet Police Chief Al Roechner playing the role of "Alf" as in "Alf on a Shelf." Now, with another year of experience on the job, Chief Roechner is back again, producing several more videos for the 2019 Christmas holiday season.
On Thursday, the Joliet Police Department posted a message on social media informing Facebook followers that the first video episode of "A JPD Christmas Story" ran last week.
On Friday, the Joliet Police Department released its second video featuring Joliet's chief wandering aimlessly through the police station causing mischief and mayhem in his alter ego of Alf.
