Joliet Coffee Shop Opens On Plainfield Road
Kafe De Kasa is open seven days a week at 1206 Plainfield Road, right across from the ACE Drive-In.
JOLIET, IL — A new Joliet coffee shop has opened for business this month at 1206 Plainfield Road. Kafe De Kasa is at the corner of Plainfield Road and Ingalls Avenue, directly across the street from one of the city's most iconic restaurants, ACE Drive-In, which closes for the winter.
Kafe De Kasa told Joliet Patch on Wednesday afternoon that its new coffee shop opened Jan 8. "The first day, we had six people," an employee said. "The next day, we were busy."
Kafe De Kasa has a large assortment of beverages, lattes, espressos, cappuccinos, iced teas, regular coffee, decaf coffee, milk shakes, smoothies, Frappes and more.

The new coffee shop also offers an assortment of pastries.

Kafe De Kasa offers WiFi access, and it's open seven days a week. Hours of operation are: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
