Joliet District 86 Student Musicians Invited to Perform

Twelve Junior High Students from Dirksen, Gompers, Hufford, and Washington to Compete at Festival

Congratulations to 12 Joliet Public Schools District 86 junior high student musicians who auditioned and were selected to perform at Illinois Music Education Association’s District 1 Honor Festival. The students will perform virtually on November 14.

The students include: Dirksen Junior High: Kaylah Howard, Darek Leschber; Gompers Junior High: Valeria Damian, Meredith Diaz Sanchez; Hufford Junior High: Chloe Black, Esme Bryson, Aiden Hadley, Natalie Medina, Madelyn Warren; and Washington Junior High: Gabrielle Gavin, Gabriela Huerta, Rauri O’Hara.
