Joliet District 86 Students Perform School Play

Forest Park I.E. Students Made the Play a Reality

Congratulations to the Forest Park students who played a key role in the school production of "The Little Red Hen." Elective courses are offered to students at Forest Park Individual Education (I.E.) School throughout the school year based on individual interests. Two recent electives included Miss Angie's Drama class who were the student characters in the play and Miss Alyssa's Stagecrafts creative where students created the props and made the set design for the play. Previous electives have included art, music, poetry, reptiles, and sign language.

Forest Park I.E. School is one of the magnet programs offered to Joliet Public Schools District 86 families. The school offers a unique educational program based on the Adlerian philosophy. The school is founded on Raymond Corsini's 4Rs: Responsibility, Respectfulness, Resourcefulness, and Responsiveness, and focuses on a balance of academics, social skills, and creativity.
